The Most Rev’d Stephen D. Wood

Archbishop and Primate of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA).

The Most Rev’d Dr. Ray Sutton

Presiding Bishop of the Reformed Episcopal Church (REC), Ordinary of the Diocese of Mid-America, and Rector of St. Mark's.

The Rev’d David W. Norton

Vicar of St. Mark’s.

David was raised in Houston, Tx., and a love for the liturgy, ecumenism, and the 'Faith once delivered' (Jude 3) was instilled in David while he was a student at St. Thomas Episcopal School. Just after he graduated from college, David discovered a call to ministry, participating in evangelical organizations that focused on youth, radio/television/film, and the dramatic arts. (Surprised?) It was at this time that David met his wife, Amy, and they moved to Dallas, where they were married. Today, they have been blessed with three beautiful and incredibly talented adult children.

David's Episcopal roots drive him to ask questions like - 'Where is the historic Church of the 1st-century?' - 'What came of the Apostolic succession?' - 'What does One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic mean?' - 'Where do I, with my gifts, fit into the ancient, present, and visible Church that St. Paul called 'the pillar and ground of truth?' (1 Tim 3:15). If these questions are of interest to you, perhaps you should consider St. Mark the Evangelist Church in Waxahachie, Tx., where we are pursuing to live into the Christian Faith of the ancient and historic Church, without alteration or adaptation, so that we might bring the undiluted Gospel of Christ, relevantly, to this current age.
